Schematic Capture
The process of taking your design sketch, and using Altium Designer to generate a file ready for review. This process will be the foundation for what will become the printed circuit board.
Component Selection (Bill of Material)
Selecting the right components is key to project success and manufacturability. Substitutions may be necessary with ever changing supply chain disruptions and shortages.
Printed Circuit Board Layout
Represents the physical connections established in the schematic, and will be designed around the product dimensions. The product dimensions will direct the placement of your components, layer count and routing of your printed circuit board. Discussions with mechanical and/or electrical engineers will determine these requirements/restrictions.
Documentation
Fabrication and Assembly documentation are important parts of getting your product to market successfully. Fabrication drawings will provide your PCB fabricator with board layer stackup, laminate material, copper weight, surface finish and specific component placement. Discussions with mechanical and/or electrical engineers will determine these requirements/restrictions.
PCB 3D Mechanical Design Files
3D Models are provided throughout the PCB layout process to ensure proper placement of components for mechanical fitment and positioning. Discussions with mechanical and/or electrical engineers will determine these requirements/restrictions.
Project and Library Migration
We can assist in migrating your projects and libraries from Autodesk Eagle and KiCad EDA to Altium Designer.
